This shows that Unsyiah had the power in the number of publications produced by the academic community, which is cited by other scientists in the whole world. Last year, entirely, Unsyiah was in 11th place, but in the Excellence category, Unsyiah also ranked 5th. Unsyiah got the first rank for all universities outside Java, and ranks 5th this year nationally, under the University of Indonesia (UI) Jakarta, Gadja Mada University (UGM) Jogjakarta, Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), and Institute of Agriculture Bogor (IPB). Webometrics ranks four major categories, "Presence" in relation to the number of pages with a university domain that the search engine records, "Impact" associated with external links linked to in Google, "Openness", associated with the relevant documents that are ready to download, and "Exellence" which is the number of scholarly publications on Google Scholar. They rank more than 21,000 universities worldwide.
